Cookie Monster!

A few hours before we left for the bonfire yesterday, Prashant and I had a quick lunch. While I was folding laundry, Prashant was in the kitchen throwing together something tasty!

Here's his signature dipping sauce: soy sauce, fresh minced garlic, fresh lime juice, chili sauce and a dash of sugar. This sauce is mouth watering good... I'm not kidding, it's that good!

Some veggie dumplings dipped in the sauce. I ate 3 of these yummy treats!

A vegetarian hot and sour soup...

I'm such a lucky girl... Prashant really knows his way around the kitchen!

Earlier in the day, I baked these beauties...

All organic oatmeal, raisin and walnut cookies! These are the best oatmeal raisin cookies I've ever had- I used my mom's recipe to make these. I'll post the recipe later, it's getting kind of late to do it tonight.

These are for us...

And these are for friends...

I usually give away 75% of what I bake to friends and neighbors because I just don't trust myself enough to have a whole batch in the house. I have a terrible sweet tooth that has gotten me into some serious trouble in the past.
